Our client is a mid-sized investment banking and advisory firm based in Huntington, Long Island and they're seeking a Microsoft Web Developer. The ideal candidate should be well versed in VB.NET, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

• Actively involved in the design, development, and implementation of feature-rich, web-based business applications
• Work closely with a small team of developers, creating web applications that meet business needs
• Exposure to the investment banking business

Qualifications:

• 2-7 years of experience working in a Microsoft web environment
• 2+ years of experience working with Visual Basic, VB.NET,, ASP.NET and Bootstrap
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL Server, Transact-SQL (T-SQL), and database objects
• Experience with Crystal Reports, SSIS, or any other reporting tools
• Experience with JavaScript, VSS, and Sybase would be a plus
• Strong analytical skills and an understanding of structured, object-oriented programming, testing, and debugging
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
