Senior Data Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid, 4 days onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Orlando. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ELT/ETL pipeline development, SQL coding, and data design. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work across business domains, manage large datasets, and leverage modern data and cloud-based technologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of overall technical experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Experience developing and maintaining ELT/ETL data pipelines.
• Technical Skills:
• High proficiency in SQL coding.
• Expertise with Python, Docker, and database platforms like Snowflake or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with job scheduling software (e.g., Apache Airflow).
• Strong understanding of database design and multi-environment development (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Proficiency with source control tools (e.g., GitLab/GitHub).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets and big data/cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
• Familiarity with API development.
• Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and services, preferably AWS.
• Expertise in data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
