About the Role
The Clinical Director provides management and oversight to the clinical aspect of RBHS programs, staff supervision and development, budget development and financial management, implementation of quality improvement protocols, internal and external program promotion and oversight of clinical staff training. The Clinical Director must be licensed in the state of South Carolina and be an inspiring and results-oriented leader with strong analytic and management skills and the breadth and depth of experience to oversee effective clinical operations that meet the needs of Landmarks for Families’ youth and families. The Clinical Director must be committed to optimizing the sustainability and effectiveness of existing programs and services, deepening staff and organizational capacity to create results, using data as a critical tool to inform learning, reflective practice, program performance, and producing outcomes. The Clinical Director will also identify, assess, and evaluate opportunities to expand current services or programs and/or implement new services or programs. The Clinical Director provides leadership, coaching, training and supervision for RBHS delivered by Landmarks for Families, the Utilization Management Reviewer, other staff who may operate as part of the clinical team and performs other job duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Vision and Strategic Planning: Creates a dynamic and innovative clinical vision for all clinical and preventive services by defining the treatment standards that are aligned with RBHS standards and articulating expectations regarding standards of care and clinical excellence.
- Budget and Contract Management Reporting: Responsible for ensuring that all programs and services are fully funded, operate in an efficient manner and comply with all reporting and funding requirements.
- Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Program Evaluation: Responsible for leadership and oversight to ensure that Landmarks for Families programs and services meet the highest quality of professional standards and operate in compliance with all external regulatory, funding and/or accrediting entities.
- Training: Works with the CEO, COO, VP of HR, and the Director of Quality Improvement and Evaluation to design and implement effective staff orientation, professional development and training programs and to promote staff retention and performance.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate must believe in the core values of Landmarks for Families, be driven by the mission and a commitment to quality, performance and outcomes.
- Independent Licensure as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA).
- Graduate Degree in the Health and Human Services Field.
- Minimum of 3-years of experience working with clients and strong understanding of treatment for children and families experiencing foster care, in need of behavioral or mental health services, and/or involved with child and family services.
- Demonstrated management experience and successful track record as a leader with positive results.
- Strong relationship builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams, developing organization-wide strategy for program excellence and engaging community partners.
- Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in work, and has experience leading others to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact.
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and fundraising.
- Skilled at data entry, data base management, auditing, and reporting.
- Committed to becoming data driven and using data to inform practice and performance.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
