Job Description
As a Network Administrator specializing in InfiniBand technology , you will play a critical role in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced data center networks. You will ensure seamless data flow, optimal performance, and robust security within our client’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- InfiniBand Expertise: Design, configure, and maintain high-performance InfiniBand-based networks.
- Network Configuration: Optimize network devices, routers, and switches for peak performance and minimal downtime.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively identify bottlenecks and maintain top network efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues swiftly to prevent service disruptions.
- Security Management: Implement industry-standard security protocols for robust data protection.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams to develop integrated, scalable solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of network changes and incident reports.
- Hardware/Software Upgrades: Plan and execute infrastructure updates to keep systems current.
- Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors to evaluate and procure equipment while resolving technical issues.
- Research & Innovation: Stay informed on emerging technologies to implement cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record as a Network Administrator with expertise in data center networking.
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with InfiniBand technology .
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
- Familiarity with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications: Relevant credentials such as CCNA, CCNP, or InfiniBand certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of network security practices and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
