Transportation Project Manager Opportunity

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their team at their brand-new headquarters located in the Pavilion at Riverwalk in Lawrence, MA or their other location in Worcester, MA. This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver impactful transportation planning, traffic studies, and design projects while mentoring a team of engineers. What You'll Do:

  • Lead transportation planning, traffic studies, and traffic signal design assignments.
  • Mentor and guide engineering staff across all phases of transportation planning and design.
  • Prepare technical traffic memorandums, studies, and comprehensive reports.
  • Develop signal design plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Collaborate with clients, attend project meetings, and deliver public presentations.


What You Bring:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities to manage tasks and assignments autonomously.
  • A self-starter mentality with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D (a plus).
  • Knowledge of MUTCD and MassDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required; PTOE certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of transportation/traffic design experience.
