Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer/Job Captain to contribute to all phases of our projects, from conceptual design through construction administration. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects and grow with a firm that values creativity, diversity, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to develop design concepts that meet project goals and client expectations.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas.
  • Assist with project documentation, including construction documents and specifications.
  • Conduct research on building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, incorporating feedback into designs.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 4-7+ years of professional experience, preferably in multi-family residential design.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino).
  • Strong design and visualization skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and accessibility standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for affordable housing and socially impactful design is a plus.
