The Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist will play a key role in supporting various aspects of M&A and business development activities. You will contribute to identifying and building relationships with potential acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and executing successful mergers and acquisitions.
Job Description
- Identify, qualify, and proactively reach out to potential acquisition targets through email campaigns, cold calling, and other outreach strategies.
- Evaluate and summarize prospect information from marketing materials, public filings, meetings, calls, and other sources to assess potential risks or issues.
- Support the team in relationship-building, due diligence, and negotiations during the deal process.
- Develop pro-forma financial statements, financial models, and financial analyses under the supervision of senior team members.
- Create and present materials for the M&A process, including pitches, sales presentations, and information memos.
- Prepare key deliverables for internal and external stakeholders, such as pitch decks and sales presentations.
- Coordinate due diligence by tracking and managing the flow of information during the M&A process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, M&A, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or similar finance roles.
- Business development and/or relationship management experience is a plus.
