We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to provide support in Troy, MI.

POSITION TYPE : Full Time, open ended contract, hybrid. PAY: $32.00 to $37.00 per hour

Requirements of the Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis required.
• High level of US GAAP knowledge required.
• Insurance industry experience a very strong plus.
• Skilled with journal entries, complex account reconcliations, month end close, statement preparation.
• Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills.
• Team player who can work well with other functional groups.

Duites of the Sr. Accountant / Financial Analyst

• Prepare complex account reconciliations and journal entries to support the month end close process.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.
• Support ongoing financial analysis projects.
• Prepare for and take part in audits.
