Company Overview: Our client is a rapidly growing, dynamic healthcare services business looking for an exceptional and strategic financial leader to join their team as CFO. This is a confidential search for a company with significant potential for future growth and expanding leadership opportunities.

Role Overview: In addition to traditional day-to-day CFO responsibilities, our client is looking for a candidate that is highly strategic, growth oriented and can lead and inspire. This individual will play a key role in driving strategic financial decisions while maintaining a strong presence in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring both operational finance expertise and strategic leadership to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational goals.
• Drive financial strategies that support the company’s rapid growth and evolving business needs.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to provide actionable insights and strategic guidance.
• Oversee cost containment initiatives, SG&A efficiencies, and the management of third-party relationships, including volume discount negotiations.
• Play a key role in implementing and managing BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) solutions to streamline operations.
• Provide hands-on support in all aspects of finance operations, from financial planning and analysis to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Foster a high-performance team culture, balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience in a fast-growing, mid-market business environment, having played a key role in scaling the business.
• Strong background in both strategic finance and operational finance, with the ability to manage the balance of big-picture strategy and hands-on involvement.
• Strong understanding of operations, technology, and finance, with a mix of expertise in all three preferred areas.
• Proven track record of working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing landscape.
• Local to the Chicago area or surrounding suburbs.

Compensation:

• Compensation is flexible and will be competitive with the market, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

• Ideally in-office 5 days a week in Naperville, with potential flexibility for 1 day per week work from home or 1 day per week in the Chicago office.
• No travel required.

• CPA is not mandatory.
