Inventure is partnered with a leading Utility-Scale Renewables IPP in Chicago looking to bolster their finance team with a Associate / Sr. Associate of Capital Markets.

Candidates with backgrounds in banking, investment, project finance, structured finance, and capital markets will all be considered, as long as they have direct renewables experience.

You must be able to manage and lead transactions from inception to close and be comfortable working in a cross-functional team where you will also play a part in project finance and M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate potential project financing partners and the terms/economics
• Support the transaction negotiation with tax equity/debt financing partners
• Lead the due diligence and financing closing process with external providers
• Assist the development team on early-stage development opportunities
• Evaluate M&A opportunities for the company
• Build and maintain financial models

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, or math-related field preferred
• 2-5 years of work experience in renewables or infrastructure finance
• Experience modeling structured debt, equity, and tax equity financing for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Storage, etc.)
