We are searching for a Mechanical Engineer or Project Engineer in the St. Louis, MO area. This role will be providing mechanical engineering support to a variety of manufacturing projects. Experience within the marine or defense manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.

responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, whether the project is produced in-house or outsourced to subcontractors.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling all major activities of the project to achieve timely completion.
• Understanding and mitigating contractual issues related to the day-to-day running of the project.
• Determining all Project requirements (Technical and General).
• Ensuring the timely submission of all Project submittals and obtaining approvals (Samples, Shop Drawings, Design Details, Work Procedures/Routings, Methods, Schedules, etc...)
• Attend all Project related meetings with intracompany departments.
• For all jobs assigned, develop estimates for the completion of the job comparing the cost and schedule.
