Job Title: Quality Engineer

Duration: 12+ Month W2 Contract (No C2C available)

Pay: $40 - $45/hour

Work Location: Remote with potential travel to sites/suppliers (up to 20%)

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer will work within the QA Shared Services Product Transfer Team, focusing on quality-related activities for global product transfers. This role involves supporting supplier-to-supplier, supplier-to-Stryker, Stryker-to-supplier, and Stryker-to-Stryker transfers while ensuring compliance with regulations, corporate standards, and local procedures. The position requires strong expertise in validation, quality assurance, and product transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all product transfers globally, including supplier and internal transfers.
• Provide guidance on regulations, corporate procedures, and site-specific requirements related to FMEA, MSA, validations, and qualifications.
• Serve as the quality point of contact for product transfers during scoping, planning, and execution phases.
• Ensure successful completion of product transfers by meeting quality, cost, and time requirements.
• Provide expertise in at least one quality specialty related to product transfers.
• Identify quality risks and gaps during product transfers and implement corrective actions.
• Act as an independent reviewer for product transfers as needed.
• Support product transfer process training and contribute to lessons learned for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of validation experience, OR
• Master of Science in Engineering or related field with 0–2 years of validation experience.
• Experience and Skills:
• Essential experience in validation and general quality assurance in life sciences (e.g., PFMEA, control plans, metrology).
• Strong background in product transfer processes and excellent engineering and machine tool fundamentals.
