Position Summary: The Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for products within the personal care and beauty industry. This role involves overseeing the preparation of regulatory submissions, maintaining product documentation, and ensuring that products meet all safety and quality standards set by regulatory bodies. The manager will also drive regulatory strategies and act as a key liaison between internal teams and regulatory agencies.

- Extensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines applicable to cosmetics and personal care products.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with regulatory databases is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance
- Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory documents to ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, providing insights and recommendations to internal teams.
- Monitor changes in regulations that may impact product formulations or labeling and communicate implications to stakeholders.
Documentation Management
- Oversee the management and organization of product documentation, including ingredient lists, safety data sheets, and formulations.
- Ensure that all product labeling meets regulatory requirements and accurately reflects product information.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and quality assurance teams to provide regulatory input during product development and marketing initiatives.
- Act as a primary resource for internal stakeholders regarding regulatory inquiries and compliance issues.
Quality Assurance
- Support quality assurance efforts by ensuring products meet safety and efficacy standards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead audits and inspections related to regulatory compliance and manage corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the USA.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within the cosmetics or personal care industry is preferred.
