Summary:
The Manager of Shopper Marketing & Planning builds, shapes, and deliver strategic customer marketing campaigns. The Manager leverages customer insights by joining those insights with the business objectives to create shopping experiences. Partnering and collaborating with other department teams and leaders within the organization. Evaluate, develop, and execute plans to engage consumers, enhance customer’s shopping experience, and drive sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Build, shape, and deliver the brand enhancing strategies
• Lead the brand platform and communication plans.
• Responsible for leveraging shopper insights and connecting those with business objectives
• Responsible for planning category marketing, developing comprehensive strategies, and integrating vendor programs and packages into cohesive, customer-centric plans that support the overall brand vision.
• Work closely with merchandising category teams, outside vendors, and across marketing functions, liaison across a variety of marketing channels.
• Shape programs and deliver significant business and brand building results.
• Demonstrate a strong business acumen to understand key levers that can unlock profitable growth.
• Analyze performance of programs to fuel future investments and transparent partnerships. Exercise exceptional leadership skills to motivate and organize cross functional teams to deliver the objectives of both internal and external customers.
• Deliver well organized communication to company leaders regarding plans or results.

• Lead planning and strategy development for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• Collaborate with merchants and vendors to provide comprehensive packages and programs to drive customer conversion and vendor income
• Effectively partner with all levels of the organization, positively influence teams and manage conflict.
• Discover and utilize customer insights to build impactful programs consistent with overall brand strategy and business objectives
• Partner with Creative & Media teams to develop channel executions across marketing assets
• Coordinate the execution of category and vendor programs with cross-functional marketing and merchandising team
• Provide timely analysis of performance to merchandising and vendors following activations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effectively communication with Executive leadership.
• Organizational skills-- the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, set clear goals, and implement systems to achieve them

Qualifications:
• Strong analytical/strategic thinker
• Familiarity with brand fundamentals and retail acumen
• Digital Marketing acumen
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Required Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years' work experience in marketing or merchandising, brand or retail.
Preferred Education/Experience:
• Combination of brand/CPG and retail marketing
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Candidate must have proficient analytic and math skills with general knowledge of media performance metrics.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; PowerPoint; Internet software and Project Management software.
