We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in managing customer extract file requests, resolving billing issues, and ensuring seamless operations. Responsibilities
- Manage the intake and processing of customer extract file requests , ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place.
- Perform data entry and maintain the request system with accuracy.
- Conduct balancing and verification activities to create robust audit trails.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on the extract platform as required.
- Resolve customer inquiries and document issues such as over/underpayments or setup discrepancies.
- Escalate billing and setup issues to management, collaborating with senior staff and supervisors to resolve invoice errors.
- Track, identify, and report trends, escalating issues when necessary.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams across multiple departments to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Proactively address and resolve issues as directed by senior leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in Billing, Finance, Operations, or Information Technology , particularly in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with Self-Funded Billing , Data Warehouses , and healthcare data such as eligibility, medical claims, pharmacy claims, and lab results.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel , Word , PowerPoint , Outlook ).
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with audit trails , UAT processes, and operational workflows in the healthcare sector.
- Ability to track trends and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
