Position: Engineer
Location: Elkton, VA
Pay Rate: $28 - $33/HR
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Integrated Science, or related disciplines.
- 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Must have no known allergy to Beta Lactam.

Heavily Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in a cGMP environment.
- Work, co-op, or internship experience in industry.
- Familiarity with CAPA, deviation, technical writing, and change control processes is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for sterile manufacturing processes, including data analysis, troubleshooting, and shop-floor support.
- Support change control implementation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Learn new processes and procedures to enhance production efficiency.
- Perform shift work as needed (minimal).
- Conduct technical investigations, analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Write, review, and improve operational procedures for equipment and processes.
- Contribute to process and equipment safety reviews.

- This position involves a mix of 50% floor support and 50% desk work.
