Position: Engineer

Location: Elkton, VA

Pay Rate: $28 - $33/HR

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Integrated Science, or related disciplines.
• 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Must have no known allergy to Beta Lactam.

Heavily Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in a cGMP environment.
• Work, co-op, or internship experience in industry.
• Familiarity with CAPA, deviation, technical writing, and change control processes is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for sterile manufacturing processes, including data analysis, troubleshooting, and shop-floor support.
• Support change control implementation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Learn new processes and procedures to enhance production efficiency.
• Perform shift work as needed (minimal).
• Conduct technical investigations, analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Write, review, and improve operational procedures for equipment and processes.
• Contribute to process and equipment safety reviews.

Additional Information:

• This position involves a mix of 50% floor support and 50% desk work.
