Position: Plant Reliability and Maintenance Engineer

Location: Fully on-site in Denver, CO

Compensation: $100K per year + 25% annual bonus


Summary:

The Plant Reliability and Maintenance Engineer will lead the implementation, continuous improvement, and sustainability of reliability systems and processes within the manufacturing site. This position is responsible for developing, managing and coordinating the reliability programs and activities of the location key assets, utilities and support equipment through the use of personal knowledge, engineering resources, OEM and maintenance employees, to ensure maximum availability of these key assets, utilities and support equipment, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage reliability practices, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Preventive Maintenance (PM).
  • Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting, process improvements, and equipment optimization.
  • Develop and execute long-term maintenance strategies and support operator basic care (OBC).
  • Train and mentor maintenance teams in precision maintenance techniques and reliability tools.
  • Analyze data to identify improvement opportunities, reduce downtime, and enhance asset performance.
  • Support risk management and regulatory compliance through reliability-driven strategies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Reliability, Mechanical, or Industrial in Engineering; Advanced degree in this or related field is highly desirable.
  • Seven (7) or more years of reliability experience within an industrial manufacturing environment preferably in mid-sized manufacturing companies in a similar industry (CPG).
  • Three (3) or more years of management experience in manufacturing or similar field.
  • Expertise in RCM, RCA, and precision maintenance techniques.
  • Strong technical and leadership skills with a focus on asset optimization and cost control.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • CMRP or CRL certifications.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Predictive maintenance technology expertise (e.g., vibration, IR, oil analysis).
  • Supervisory experience and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
