Position: Creative Media Services Specialist II
Location: Broomfield, CO - 100% Onsite
Contract Length: 4 months; possible extensions
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce compelling videos through scriptwriting, storyboard creation, and video editing.
- Develop marketing-style presentations, print materials, and videos, which may include taking a broad, vague idea and turning it into something creative.
- Interact directly with government customers and counterparts, managers, engineers, and scientists.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company. Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement, with five days of each normally scheduled week spent on-site in the primary work location. Travel and local commutes between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS degree in a related field plus 2 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., a Master’s or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. The degree must be from a university, college, or school accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Must be able to provide a reel/and or example of a written script for a complete application.
- Must be skilled in storyboarding, concept art, and design.
- Working knowledge of design systems and software required for Broadcast Design (Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere.
- Must have experience or academic background in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or advertising.
- Must have excellent time management and ability to meet fixed deadlines and quick turnarounds.
- Must have experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility in moving from one project to the next.
- Excellent interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills.
- Experience with audio engineering.
- Interest in the science/defense industry.
