Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, from case assessment to trial and resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and court filings with precision and efficiency.
• Manage the discovery process, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding case strengths, risks, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration as needed.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Attend court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education : Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission : Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years in civil litigation (defense experience preferred).
• Skills : Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical abilities. Proven case management skills in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Personal Injury Defense or Civil Defense.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal court rules and procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Experience representing municipal entities, public authorities, or large-scale organizations in civil litigation.
