Our client a Top 200 AM Law firm is seeking an associate Attorney to join our dynamic Medical Malpractice Defense team in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a diverse caseload of medical malpractice claims
• Partner with attorneys and team members on a variety of legal projects
• Handle regular court appearances and depositions
• Maintain strong client communication and provide timely status updates
• Manage a caseload of COVID-related lawsuits with a focus on defense.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in New York
• 2+ years of defense litigation experience (Medical Malpractice experience preferred)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Experience with legal project management is advantageous

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $175,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications
