Manufacturing Engineer
• Location: Chandler, AZ
• Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
• Length: Until 1/2026 (Contract extension expectation)
• Pay Rate – $45 - $51 hourly depending on experience
• Work Authorization - Must be able to work in the U.S. with approved authorization status.
What You'll Do:
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed.
- Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
- Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
- Will work within the QA Shared Services Product Transfer Team, responsible for quality related activities as it applies to Product Transfer, these include but not limited to the following:
- Having knowledge of and ability to provide interpretation and guidance on Regulations, Corporate and Site Local procedures as they relate to quality activities such as FMEA, MSA’s, Validations and Qualifications
- Point of contact for quality for Product transfers at Scoping, Planning and Execution phases
- Enable successful completion of Product transfer to achieve its quality, cost and time requirements
- Provide expertise for at least 1 quality specialty associated with Product transfer
- Be able to identify PT quality risks/gaps and provide solutions to correct
- Product Transfer Independent Reviewer as required
- Supports Product Transfer Process training where required
- Provides feedback to lessons learnt for each completed Product transfer
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Technical, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of experience in validation
- General Quality Assurance experience in life sciences is essential (pfmea, control plans metrology etc), product transfer, excellent engineering and machine tools fundamentals
