LHH is seeking a Sales Account Executive to join our client's team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time role, mostly remote, with regular travel. As a Sales Account Executive, you will interface with external customers and internal teams to promote products within an assigned territory. You will devise strategies to differentiate products, broaden the customer base, and increase penetration at existing accounts.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales person who is comfortable generating sales lead with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This candidate will be able to understand a prospective client's needs and offer an ideal solution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sales leadership and collaborate with Field Applications Engineering and Business Units.
- Promote and sell products to established customers and develop new prospects.
- Identify interconnect opportunities and work with customers' engineering teams to design new products.
- Develop and implement sales plans and growth strategies.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas through new design wins and sales channel management.
- Support technical aspects of the sales cycle and provide customer service for complex interconnect problems.
- Track orders and revenue by customer.
- Build rapport and provide customer support, including information on samples, delivery dates, and specifications.
- Stay informed about new products and market competition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing with a technical background or a B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of sales experience in High Speed Interconnect, Power, PCBA, or related field.
- Knowledge of international business practices is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (50%+).
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure technical design wins and customer partnerships.
- Technically astute with extensive product and application knowledge.
- Self-motivated and driven to identify and pursue new customers and markets.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Leadership skills to drive new opportunities in a global account environment.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Compensation: $120K-160K/year + commission
