The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for day to day sales efforts in assigned markets effectively soliciting and securing new accounts. The Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals.
Responsibilities
· Develop strategies and sales plans to activate and maximize revenues for the Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Northwest.
· Implement, execute and modify sales plans and activities to meet and exceed revenue.
· Deploy and maintain a proactive solicitation and sales approach to achieve optimal results.
· Develop assigned markets and maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel’s market and demand generators.
· Manage assigned territory accounts relationships, partnerships and customer satisfaction.
· Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner.
· Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals.
· Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.
· Perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
· Adhere to guidelines regarding processes established by the DOSM.
Qualifications
*Bachelor Degree preferred, or equivalent experience required; 2-4 years experience in the Hospitality Industry
*Excellent skills in verbal and written communication.
*Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office products and Delphi
*Able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills
