Commercial or Personal Lines Account Manager - Full-time Position:
Our mid-size insurance agency located in Middleton, MA is looking for someone to fill a full-time
opening. This individual will be responsible for servicing an existing Commercial or Personal Lines book of business currently set up on a letter split. They will manage current client's accounts on a day to day basis, which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Daily client interaction
- New Business (obtaining client info, accords, marketing, quoting, processing)
- Renewal marketing
- Renewal processing, letters, summaries of insurance
- Endorsements
- Account rounding & cross selling
- Coverage recommendations
- Billing
- Claims
- Certificates of insurance
This individual will be required to maintain client files accurately and consistently, provide
proper documentation in AMS (agency’s management system) and effectively communicate
with clients and carriers. They will be responsible for following the agency’s procedures and
must adhere to the standards, guidelines and timelines.
Job Requirements:
Candidate should a minimum of five (5) years of
Commercial Lines or Personal Lines experience handling small to medium sized accounts.
Background in AMS360 agency management systems would be a plus. Candidate should currently have a Property and Casualty license, or must obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe. Must be a team player with strong computer, communication, and relationship building skills.
