Looking for a Commercial Loan Officer to join a thriving credit union that's looking to further expand their Fort Wayne commercial market. With over 80+ years of financial strength, our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to drive an ambitious growth strategy. This remote position, has opportunity for growth.

Commercial Loan Officer Tasks:

• Achieve/exceed Credit Union's commercial lending goals (originating, underwriting, documenting, and monitoring loans for/in commercial loan portfolio)
• Apply commercial loan policies
• Evaluate and proactively respond to changes in regulatory, market, and competitive conditions
• Efficiently communicate changes, policies, etc.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of commercial lending field (structuring, underwriting, documenting transactions)
• Maintain awareness of commercial lending field (government regulation, commercial needs and preferences, relationship-enhancements)
• Participate in community affairs to increase Credit Union's visibility and enhance new business opportunities

Ideal Commercial Loan Officer Profile:

• Bachelor's degree with an MBA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Commercial Lending, or Credit Analyst for a large financial institution
• Strong sales acumen
• Proven track record of building relationships
• Strong analytical skills
• Solid problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills
