About the Role:

The Executive Director of Shadow Her is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the organization. This role involves overseeing program development and execution, securing funding, marketing and serving as the primary spokesperson for the organization. The Executive Director will lead the organization’s efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to ensure financial sustainability and support for Shadow Her’s mission. They will also manage the day-to-day business operations, including budget planning, staff leadership, and performance oversight, to maintain efficient and effective organization.

Additionally, the Executive Director will play a key role in developing and refining strategies to enhance program offerings, foster engagement within the Shadow Her community, and measure program impact. This individual will also work to expand the organization’s reach by identifying new opportunities for growth and collaboration. A critical part of the role includes ensuring operational excellence, streamlining processes, and creating systems that support the unique needs of women entrepreneurs, enabling them to focus on building their businesses. The Executive Director is the visionary leader driving Shadow Her’s mission forward, combining strategic planning with hands-on management to empower women entrepreneurs to achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

• · Provide strategic leadership to achieve the mission and goals of Shadow Her.
• · Oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective implementation and facilitation of programs and services.
• · Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative organizational culture.
• · Recruit, manage, and coordinate volunteers.

Fundraising and Financial Management:

• · Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure diverse funding sources.
• · Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial stability and transparency.
• · Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations.

Program Development and Oversight:

• · Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs to ensure they meet the needs of the community and align with the organization’s mission.
