Vaco Boston has partnered with our client, a global investment management firm, that is seeking an Internal Wholesaler. This individual will provide strategic telephone sales and territory management for assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities: - Independently plan, prepare and initiate sales calls
- Create, implement and execute territory marketing and sales strategy to promote and sell investment products.
Develop new prospects and maintain existing relationships. - Facilitate and participate in meetings with representatives either in the territory and/or during a visit to Boston office. Facilitate conference calls between branch offices and investment staff.
- Plan broker dealer meetings, seminars, conference calls
- Analyze daily sales reports to provide intelligence on territory activity
- Keep current with industry knowledge and experience to collaborate with the externals wholesaler in achieving established sales goals
- Analyze firm and third-party data in order to narrow focus for sales campaigns
- Proactive and coordinated use of digital marketing and social media
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree
- 1-3+ years relevant work experience in financial services
- Series 7 and 63 required (or within 6 months of hire)
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
