Summary:
This company is set on 32 acres overlooking the Hudson River, in Riverdale, New York. They provide a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.
The Director of Sales is an integral part of the company’s Continuum of Care which includes the Senior Living Sales and Marking Division. This role is responsible for building and growing the senior housing census by developing relationships with existing referrers and developing new leads through an account management system as well as the optimization of cross utilization of continuum services.
Work Schedule: 5 days a week in office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the sales and marketing functions of the community including effectively selling the community’s services and the company community through networking, event planning, sales, public relations, community events and developing relationships with the surrounding community of health care providers and referral sources.
• Census stabilization of the company’s Private Pay and Medicaid Assisted Livings and Independent Living Apartments census.
• Appropriate reporting of community outreach effort outcomes and direction on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Develops a strategic plan for the marketing and selling of senior living housing.
• Prepare and complete action plans.
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Resolve problems.
• Complete audits.
• Identify trends.
Qualifications Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred from an accredited college or university in marketing, business management, business administration, communication, health care administration or a related field
• Experience in sales and marketing, preferably with senior housing or a healthcare facility.
• Five years of progressive management experience required.
