Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient/ Outpatient Surgical OR Bariatric Surgery

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Columbus campus. This is a full-time position with varying call responsibilities.

In this role you will:

• Perform first OR assist duties, as needed.
• Rounding on patients in the hospital
• Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital
• Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting
• Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU and CVICU areas
• Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization

Position Highlights:

• The hours are M-F, 8-5
• No weekends
• OR experience is a plus but not required
• Must be comfortable seeing post op, follow ups and weight management patients

Requirements

Masters, bachelors degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
