Hospice Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS)

Equip Human Solutions is partnering with a growing Hospice organization throughout California! We are looking for a DPCS for a branch location in San Diego. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
• Provide guidance and support to coordinators and clinical managers to enhance care services.
• Assist Executive Director with budget preparation and administration.
• Hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel.
• Assures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of agency personnel and maintains compliance to the ACHC Home Care standards and company policies and procedures.
• Act as Executive Director in the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Registered nurse with current California licensure
• 3+ years of management experience in home health or related healthcare organization, including 1+ year in a supervisory/administrative role
• Expertise in clinical decision-making and quality management
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Participation in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
• Meet Physical requirements (sit, stand, drive, walk, etc.)
