This role offers an opportunity to join a well-established independent practice in partnership with a local hospital and Cancer Center. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team at the hospital and Cancer Center, specifically focusing on aesthetic and reconstructive surgery with the opportunity for hand surgery if desired, offering integrative and compassionate care with access to state-of-the-art treatments and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Partner with patients to conduct thorough patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning
• Develop and implement personalized surgical plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure patient safety and satisfaction: provide perioperative and post-operative care and follow-up, upholding rigorous safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, helping them understand their options and expected outcomes
• Be a lifelong learner: stay current with advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
• Active California Medical License or the ability to obtain licensure
• Proficient in microvascular surgery
• Specialized training and experience in breast reconstruction
