Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups. Job Requirements Current RN License in Missouri Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only Preferred Certifications: ACLS from AHA only 1 year Med Surg experience May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs Schedule Information Shift: Nights, 1900-0730 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 Weekend Hours: As required by facility / every other weekend Call Requirements: None Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 15 currently; 15 beds under construction Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 on days, 1:6-7 on nights Equipment: Nova Meters for Blood glucose, Alaris IV pump, Kangaroo pumps, SCD machine EMR: EPIC Additional Details Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
