Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master to lead and guide our agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Scrum frameworks and agile methodologies, with the ability to mentor teams, remove obstacles, and ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide and coach teams on Agile principles, ensuring adherence to Scrum practices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.
• Identify and resolve impediments or obstacles to team progress.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined product backlog.
• Track team progress using appropriate metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity).
• Facilitate effective communication between development teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Mentor team members on Agile practices and promote a self-organizing team environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve team performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of Scrum practices with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a senior role, with 5+ years in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and software development life cycles.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in scaled Agile environments or leading multiple Scrum teams.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Agilist).
• Background in software development, project management, or a related technical field.
