Compensation: $110,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Must-Haves:
- 5-7+ years' experience in .NET Framework, .NET development, understands and quickly learns architecture + infrastructure
- Legacy applications; at highest version of framework BEFORE Core
- v 4.8 or 4.7 - Have some newer applications in .NET Core as well -What versions of .NET are you familiar with, what are your experiences within those?
- SQL Server and Oracle database experience on the backend, including optimizing queries and troubleshooting performance issues
-Design, implement, and manage APIs to support both internal and external integrations.
Plusses:
- Azure experience
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Experience in cloud development projects
About the Role:
Insight Global is seeking two skilled .NET Developer to support a financial services client in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of legacy applications, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of .NET technologies, SQL Server, MVC, Visual Studio, and XML.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance legacy applications using .NET technologies.
- Perform regular updates and patches to ensure application security and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement new requirements.
- Optimize SQL Server databases for performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain application documentation.
- Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and testing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.
