Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on healthcare, multifamily, education, or commercial projects.
• Demonstrated experience in estimating projects within the healthcare, multifamily, education, or commercial sectors.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam, RS Means, Sage or similar platforms.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and reports.

Pluses

• LEED AP, PMP, or other relevant credentials.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• L ead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects in the healthcare, multifamily, education, or commercial sectors.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits to gather essential information and assess project requirements.
• Solicit and review bids from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.
• Perform risk analysis to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and estimates to clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in estimation techniques and tools.
