Job Title: SailPoint Engineer (Okta)

Contract-to-Hire Position (C2H)

In-Office: 3-4 days a month (Hybrid after conversion to FTE)

Required Travel: 60 miles from RTO locations

Max Bill Rate: $68/hr on W2

Position Overview:

• The Engineer, Info Sec will be responsible for day-to-day security operations within Retail Services, managing security-related applications, databases, and other system environments. This role will involve collaboration across Information Security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure the highest protection for Retail Services’ information assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Okta engineering expertise for integration of application SSO, workflows, and various tenants (B2E, B2B, B2C).
• Identify areas for process improvements and drive the development of new solutions to address gaps.
• Document processes, project updates, architecture, and technical requirements.
• Contribute to the InfoSec team’s strategy, acting as a change agent and supporting broader organizational initiatives.
• Proactively identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Conduct data analysis using Excel, database queries, and other tools.
• Present findings using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.

• Okta engineering experience (hands-on experience with OIE, Application SSO integrations, workflows, B2E, B2B, B2C tenants)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Troubleshooting expertise

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, IT Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, Okta Professional, Consultant, or Administrator preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Okta engineering experience.
