A leading telecommunications company is seeking a talented Junior Engineer to join their Global Product / Entertainment & Applied AI team. This innovative team drives the development and maintenance of a cutting-edge video delivery platform that powers seamless streaming and on-demand video services for millions of users.
Required skills:
- Recent Computer Science graduate or Bootcamp graduate
- Proficiency in backend Java or Python
- Strong willingness to learn
- Linux:
- Basic knowledge of navigating a Linux operating system
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Senior Engineers to align with technology direction, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new platform features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain platform stability and optimize performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Monitor support channels to identify and address system issues promptly.
- Assist the operations team in diagnosing and resolving issues to improve overall system reliability.
- Follow standard development workflows to identify, prioritize, and fix bugs effectively.
