JOB DESCRIPTION

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to onboard a skilled Power BI Developer to their team in Irvine, CA. This individual will support their PowerBI, Snowflake, and Epic reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare and be proficient in writing SQL queries and creating reports and dashboards in Power BI. Candidates with experience with and hold certifications in Epic Clarity PB and Epic Cogito are highly preferred. This individual must have excellent communication skills as they interface with leadership and clients. This is a direct placement role and this individual will be required to come onsite in Irvine, CA, 5 days a week. The salary range for this role is $125k/yr-$135k/yr.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

3+ years of experience as a PowerBI Developer or in a similar role

Proficiency in writing SQL queries

Experience working in healthcare Some knowledge of Epic is highly preferred

In-depth knowledge of relational databases, star schema, data lake, and data modeling.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience with Epic, specifically with Epic Clarity PB and Epic Cogito

Within Epic Cogito, 3+ years of experience with Workbench and SlicerDicer

Certification in Epic Clarity PB and Epic Cogito is preferred

Experience in a Snowflake environment

Experience as a trainer/presenting to large audiences

Experience as an analyst in another part of Epic -- scheduling, clinical, pharmacy, etc.
