Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Hartford, CT (2 days a week)

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description:

8+ years total exp and 3+ years’ experience in developing Spring Boot Java Services in DevOps Environment.

Experience in Java and Spring Framework

Build and consume RESTful APIs and webservices.

Experience in Writing automated unit and integration/behavioral tests(Junit/JMockit or Mockitor)

Develop SQL queries and analyze data to support application development and production issues.

Adherence to clean code principles and write reusable, modular code applying design principles and patterns.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Build & Deployment tools (Sonar, Octopus)

Use of OAuth2.0 and JWT tokens

Proficiency in MySQL, Postgres database technologies.

Deployment and troubleshooting application in Cloud environment (preferred GCP)

Technical focus/skills :

• Understand application architecture and interplay between application tiers & components (UI/UX, middleware, backends)
• Query and decipher logging entries by application tiers and components.
• Use tooling read and decipher JSON documents, entities, and data
• Form requests in tooling like Postman to invoke endpoints
• Orchestrated use of the above to triage application issues and defects efficiently and consistently
