Job Title: Senior System Engineer - Kubernetes

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Kubernetes Application Engineer to manage the deployment and scaling of our containerized applications. An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sophisticated technology environments and will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable applications using Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and ensure the overall availability and performance of scalable applications through Kubernetes.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications in accordance with timescales and project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Actively monitor the health of Kubernetes clusters, troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise.
• Stay abreast with the latest developments in the Kubernetes ecosystem and bring in industry best practices.
• Develop internal tools aimed at enhancing efficiency and the overall security of Kubernetes deployments.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in related fields.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Master's in a related field is preferred.
• Experience within a Microsoft environment.
• Familiarity with Azure, RedHat, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of container environments, automations, and load balancers.
• VMware experience for virtualization is desirable.
• Experience using Rubrik for backups.
• Additional networking knowledge, especially with Cisco gear, will be considered as a bonus.
