Description:
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a dynamic and outgoing Contract Recruiter for our client’s new healthcare facility in Port St. Lucie, FL. This is a full-desk recruiter role that combines requisition management and proactive recruitment efforts. The role requires the recruiter to be local to Port St. Lucie and available for onsite recruiting and hiring events approximately once a month from March to July, with the potential for additional events.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Management:
- Manage a high-volume requisition load of approximately 100 positions.
- Focus on hiring for nursing, nursing support roles, and allied health positions in a fast-paced environment.
Event Participation:
- Represent the client at recruitment and hiring events in Port St. Lucie, FL.
- Attend onsite hiring events to ensure successful recruitment for the new facility.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate with local executives and nursing leadership to develop and execute recruitment strategies.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on recruitment efforts and outcomes.
Relationship Building:
- Build connections with local educational institutions and community organizations to develop a strong talent pipeline.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare recruitment experience.
- Proven experience in high-volume RN and allied health recruitment.
Skills:
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage with executives and address large groups.
- Detail-oriented with experience in high-volume hiring.
- Outgoing, approachable, and team-oriented personality.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be based in Port St. Lucie, FL.
- Ability to attend onsite events and represent the recruitment team with professionalism.
- Strong ability to build rapport with diverse groups, including executives and potential candidates.
