Position Overview:

The Marketing Automation Manager will lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of CRM systems and processes to meet business needs. This role requires expertise in CRM platforms, system integration, data management, and campaign execution to enhance customer experience and drive business goals. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, customer service, and IT to ensure alignment with broader business objectives, optimize CRM systems, and develop impactful customer engagement strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


CRM System Oversight & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure CRM systems (Salesforce, Acoustic) are aligned with business goals and effectively support sales, marketing, and customer service functions.
  • Optimize the CRM user interface, system processes, and workflows to enhance system efficiency and user adoption across departments.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of CRM systems to meet evolving business needs and scale with organizational growth.


System Integration & Data Management:

  • Manage the integration of CRM systems with other internal tools (marketing automation, sales platforms, etc.) to ensure smooth data flow and seamless workflows.
  • Lead efforts to improve data hygiene and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across CRM platforms.
  • Implement best practices for database management, including data governance and security protocols.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with external vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to optimize CRM functionalities and ensure the effective use of CRM tools across departments.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to gather feedback, refine CRM system features, and drive adoption.


Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Design and execute CRM campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications) that drive customer engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Develop and implement customer journey automation strategies, including lead nurturing, onboarding, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Utilize data insights to continuously refine and optimize campaign strategies for improved results.


Customer Segmentation & Profiling:

  • Develop and manage advanced customer segmentation strategies to target specific customer groups with personalized campaigns.
  • Use customer data to build personas, identify trends, and refine segmentation strategies across all communication channels (email, SMS, etc.).


Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and CRM metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Create reports and dashboards to measure the success of CRM campaigns and share insights with stakeholders to guide decision-making.
  • Continuously optimize reporting tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on customer data and campaign results.


Marketing Automation:

  • Manage the implementation and optimization of marketing automation tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of customer communications.
  • Automate workflows to streamline communication and reduce manual processes, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.


Project Management & Leadership:

  • Lead and manage CRM-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with budget requirements.
  • Oversee the transition of CRM systems, including system migrations and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruptions to daily operations.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce, Acoustic) and system integrations.
  • Experience in vendor management, project management, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, CRM best practices, and system architecture.
  • Proven track record in implementing and optimizing CRM systems to meet business needs and improve user experience.
  • Ability to analyze customer data to improve CRM system functionality and drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation and campaign management tools.
  • Experience with customer segmentation, journey mapping, and performance analysis.

Estimated compensation for this position is:


Salary: $75,000 - $100,000


The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
