Marketing Operations Manager

Location: San Rafael, CA (hybrid)

Pay Rate: $55-65/hour

12-month assignment (potential to extend)


Join our client, a global leader in delivering groundbreaking therapies for rare genetic diseases! As the Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting marketing operations and ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing Operations, U.S. Brand Management, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful marketing initiatives in a mission-driven organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Promotional Review Board (PRB) process for reviewing and approving materials.
  • Ensure timely FDA submissions through the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP).
  • Maintain PRB agendas, meeting notes, and cross-functional updates.

Marketing Materials:

  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns with Brand Teams.
  • Oversee production, inventory, and distribution of materials in print, digital, and other formats.
  • Coordinate translations of materials into multiple languages.

Budget and Vendor Management:

  • Define budgets, manage monthly accruals, and control expenses.
  • Work with vendors to meet project objectives within timelines and budgets.

Operations Support:

  • Train internal and external partners on systems and processes.
  • Manage subscriptions, sales enablement tools, and generate reports.
  • Lead special projects to streamline processes and improve efficiency.


Key Collaborations:

  • PRB (Commercial, Compliance, Medical)
  • Brand Management Teams (U.S. and Global)
  • Field Teams, Compliance, Regulatory, Finance, and Vendors


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years in pharmaceutical, biologics, or agency environments
  • PRB management and Veeva Vault PromoMats experience
  • Knowledge of FDA Pre-Clearance submissions
  • Strong organizational, project management, and budgeting skills


This position supports efficient marketing operations and ensures regulatory compliance.
