Job Title: Junior Project Manager (Project Assistant)
Location: New York, NY 10007 - Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay rate: $50/hr on w2
Job Description:
Required Skills:
- The role primarily involves Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, utilizing tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Daily tasks will involve working in Jira, Excel, email communication, and phone calls.
- The responsibilities include managing a program with multiple projects running concurrently, focusing on the deployment and decommissioning of infrastructure.
- This includes coordinating efforts for setting up or removing systems and ensuring smooth operations.
- Strong collaboration skills are essential, as the role requires working with multiple cross-functional teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a project with specified deliverables.
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with other staff members.
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to complete the project
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
