This dynamic and growing company is hiring an experienced professional to join its Finance team as Senior Manager of FP&A. We are looking for someone with a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Vice President, Finance, the Manager / Sr. Manager FP&A assumes a pivotal role in our financial planning and analysis endeavors. The incumbent will spearhead our quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and monthly reporting efforts, both at the departmental and organizational levels. Proficiency in these areas will be instrumental in facilitating our quarterly financial submissions, Board of Directors (BOD) reporting, and external reporting mandates. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and supervising a team of adept analysts.
Primary Duties:
- Collaborate closely with the Global Business Development and Corporate Strategy units to construct proforma financial forecasts.
- Assume responsibility for internal financial management reporting.
- Spearhead the departmental expense closure and accrual process, alongside the departmental budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Lead and consolidate the corporate budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Oversee the budgeting process and contribute to partnership reporting.
- Regularly update and maintain the assumptions underpinning our Long-Term Financial Model.
- Provide support to Finance during due diligence processes pertaining to product and company acquisitions, including business development modeling.
- Prepare presentations for the Financial Board of Directors and Quarterly Business Review.
- Hold monthly meetings with departmental heads to assess expense tracking against budget and forecast.
- Assist in the preparation of earnings release tables.
- Undertake various ad-hoc modeling and analytical tasks.
Supplementary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Cultivate robust cross-functional relationships with departmental leaders.
- Undertake the training, management, and professional development of 3+ employees.
- Engage in regular interactions with senior executives.
Qualifications and Background:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Desirable credentials include CPA and/or an MBA.
- Accumulated experience of 6 or more years in the field of Finance or Accounting.
