Corporate Manager – Engineering & Maintenance

Overview:

A leading industrial company is seeking a Corporate Manager of Engineering and Maintenance to oversee engineering and maintenance functions across multiple locations. This leadership role focuses on optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee engineering projects, including installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to minimize downtime and enhance asset longevity.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor engineering and maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Budget Oversight: Develop and monitor budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality and safety.
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Asset Management: Implement preventive maintenance schedules, equipment inspections, and inventory management strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance engineering and maintenance processes.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to optimize operational performance.
• Industry Expertise: Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
• Expertise in engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
• Proven experience managing engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
• Budget management expertise with a focus on cost control and operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); a Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering and maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
