Key Responsibilities

Quality Engineer Manager– Metal Fabrication

  • Oversee quality processes in military and aerospace heavy metal fabrication.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to machining and inspection processes.
  • Conduct and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in compliance with AS9102 requirements.
  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering prints to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain inspection plans to ensure consistent product quality.

Quality Engineer Manager– Electrical/Electronics

  • Ensure quality assurance for military and aerospace electrical and electronics systems.
  • Inspect and validate wire harnesses and electronic assemblies for compliance and functionality.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify conformance to AS9102 standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in aerospace and defense industries with knowledge of AS9102, IPC-620, and J-STD-001 standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and quality management certifications such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
  • Hands-on role requiring visual acuity and occasional lifting of items over 25 pounds.
  • Flexible work hours with occasional travel requirements.
