Extol, Inc. is looking for a resilient, curious, and empathetic Manufacturing Solutions Engineer! This position is responsible for developing customized solutions to meet customer challenges, develop budgets, and convey the results to the sales team. Strong candidates will demonstrate the ability to use their technical abilities to understand the true problems that customers have and creatively and confidently present solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Regularly communicate with customers to understand their manufacturing challenges
• Collaborates with Account Managers and various departments to develop the best manufacturing solution for the customer
• Develops rough concepts, budgetary quotes, and formal proposals by evaluating technical documents and CAD
• Lead kick-off meetings with operations teams to review budget and scope of work

What You’ll Bring

• Engineering Degree (preferred)
• 3-5 years of industry experience (or 5-10 if no degree)
• Significant experience with custom manufacturing and automation equipment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to dig deep and figure out what a customer needs
