Position Overview:
Abbott's Diagnostics Division is seeking a Specialist Quality Assurance to analyze and ensure that quality standards are met for components, materials, or services. This position involves designing and reviewing quality control processes, participating in risk management, and ensuring compliance with quality systems and industry standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Design/Change Control: Participate in developing and reviewing design inputs, risk management, design verification, design validation, and design output/transfer related activities.
- Risk Management: Apply basic Risk Management principles and assist in developing/modifying Risk Management Files and FMEAs.
- Design Verification/Validation: Understand and apply Design Verification/Validation methods. Contribute to the development and modification of protocols, data summaries, and records.
- Documentation: Review documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance, and assist in project planning with varying degrees of complexity.
- Quality System Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, reporting non-compliance issues promptly to management.
- Quality Engineering: Collaborate with project teams and technical review boards to facilitate quality decisions and navigate processes, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective products.
- Quality Records: Analyze quality records, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
- Inspection & Validation: Conduct inspections, verifications, and validations of components and materials used in development processes.
- Reporting: Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
Education and Experience You’ll Bring:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
