As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you’ll collaborate with engineers, production staff, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and high equipment reliability. The Tech and What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain, clean, and repair high-volume process equipment daily.
- Conduct preventative maintenance in line with scheduled timelines.
- Assist with managing spare parts and tooling inventory to ensure operational readiness.
- Partner with vendors to coordinate equipment repairs and refurbishments as needed.
- Perform process capability studies, equipment installation qualifications, and process validations.
- Train production personnel on the proper use of automated equipment.
- Create visual aids for process and inspection criteria to support production activities.
- Promote a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Document equipment status and provide updates to management and team members.
The Skills You Will Need
We are seeking candidates with a blend of technical expertise and teamwork-oriented qualities:
- Experience in manufacturing, particularly in medical device production within automated or semi-automated environments, is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using tools such as micrometers, voltmeters, and calipers.
